Whispering pines was as peaceful and quiet as it can be, weather was nice as always and it was a good day to take a stroll. Shadow, the dark Bluish-grey pony with a black and red spiky mane and tail, decided to go explore the wilderness while flying swiftly past trees. Today, he was as bored as a sloth and was trying to find something to do. As he roams around the forest he sees Myra from a view, "hmm... I wonder what shes doing here" he thought as he approaches her. Suddenly out of nowhere, a mysterious glowing gem (which was the size of a coconut) flew from one of the trees and hit Shadow in the head real hard, leaving him unconscious.

Bris, a pale pinkish white pony, could hear the whistle of the gem as it fell. His deer like ears flitted this way and that with his pink eyes wide.
"what on earth was that noise?" he exclaimed to himself as he turned his head to where it seemed to come from. His sight caught it before it disappeared among the trees. "well I best to see if no pony got hurt... right?" He licked his lips. "I hope no one got hurt." His mind was dead set that he didn't want to see anything.... dead.
With a spread of his wings he got a jogging start and flew off to the spot. His large wings allowed him to soar. Down below he could see Shadow laying on the ground.

Walking around the her Shop, Myra, and bi-color unicorn, was just about to head into town to look for something fun and entertain to do. "I wonder what Path is doing?" she thought to herself. As she walked down the road she has a pegasus fly overhead. "Haven't seen that pony around her before." She followed the pony on foot and just as they rounded the bend, both of them caught eye of somepony lying in the road. "Is that Shadow?" She thought now running to the scene

By the time Myra had gotten there, Bris had landed and tucked in his long wings. Gingerly he moved around Shadow's body. His hooves made the lightest of sounds. The blades of grass were hardly disturbed.
His own breaths where shallow in a panic. 'Oh how do I check to see if he is alive? what do I do?'
Breathe in... breathe out. Bris seem to calm when he saw Myra. 'Thank Celestia another pony.' He raised his hoof lightly and pointed to Shadow. "I FOUND HIM LIKE THIS," he blurted out. "SOMETHING CAME FROM THE SKY!"
Seems he wasn't so calm after all.

As soon as path, evest and Bris arrived, ShadowStorm ended up finding himself lying in the ground after getting hit in the head by the big wierd gem. His head was bleeding slightly. "Aww sweet celestia, looks like... I took a big...hit" Shadow tried to regain conscious by shaking his head a bit.
"What just... Happened?" he said. The Big red glowing gem that hit shadows head was laying beside shadow. The gem caught shadow's attention "And what... Is this?"

"I-I have no idea" Myra walked up to i. "It looks like some kind of Gem" She feared to touch it, it was glowing a strange hue. while still looking at the gem she asked "So Shadow are you ok? Fell any different?

Bris decided to just stay quiet for now and just loom around being as tall as he was he could just look over Myra at the Gem. He was taking a good look at it. He got this odd feeling from it. He couldn't place if it was either good or evil.

"Yeah... I'm ok, other than the fact that I'm slightly bleeding in the head" Shadow replied to Myra. He studied the gem carefully and closely. It seems that this gem he was looking at holds mysterious powers, very curious of where it came from. While Shadow kept looking at it, he suddenly felt weird. The gem made him feel a bit dizzy followed by seeing flashbacks. The flashbacks he saw where mostly from crow city. He saw his people being attacked and killed by Sombra. Everything was wrecked, destroyed and burned to debris. He even saw Sombra's crown holding the same mysterious gem that he found, knowing that it holds great evil within it. Finally, He looked into the future for a few seconds, seeing the crossing completely destroyed by a mysterious pony holding the red gem. Shadow... Was then back to reality. "*gasp* oh no... I remember where this gem came from. King Sombra!" Shadow now knows that the gem possesses a greater threat to the crossing.

"From Sombra? How can this be?" Myra walked by Shadow to get a close look at it. Myra dint see anything special about it. She could however feel the power emitting from it. It was that or the burritos Nimondi made her eat last night. "It doesn't look out of place other than it falling from the sky. How are you sure?"

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure of it" Shadow got back up slowly and was a bit frightened "I saw things... Whenever I look into this gem real closely, I could see some visions. In the past and future". Shadow was also afraid of what he saw from those visions, that king Sombra was there "I even saw my past, how my people from my hometown died... and worst of all..." Shadow looked down with more fear "I saw the future... A big threat to the crossing and equestria, an evil mare. Though I didnt see how she really looked like. The shade from the building was covering her whole body." It looks like the foreshadowing threat is coming soon, but who could possibly try to destroy equestria?

Myra walked up to the gem. "Are you sure about that? I can't imagine that coming true" Myra went so that the grey side of her was in clear sight of Shadow "Just looks like a stupid rock to me"
