Neon, a white Earth pony with a lightning yellow mane and markings, was on her morning run. She enjoyed running just before the sun arose so that way her own electric power could light her way. She was bright enought to be seen from a long ways away. She slowed and exhaled.
"I think that this is a good run for today. Time to go into town and get breakfast." she thought to herself.
She walked into town as the sun first rose over the horizen. She was still noticably glowing out of her markings

Scylla, a kelpie, was headed towards the river to go for a swim. just before she got in, however, Scylla saw a moving glow. Wanting to see what it was, she followed the glow.
As she got close, Scylla saw that it was a pony who was glowing. Concerned, Scylla walked towards the glowing pony, who was unaware of her at the moment. "Excuse me," Scylla said, "are yo-". She was hit by a flash before she had the chance to finish that sentence.

Neon jumped and let out a small jolt of electricity. She wasnt execpting anypony to be out at this hour and was taking by surprise. The jolt was small but the recipient could defienatly feel it. She turned around quickly a good three pony lenghts away form where she was before. She took a glance at the what had startled her and realised it was a small kelpie. "Oh my, are you ok?" She said, slowly approaching the kelpie

"... huh?," she said, trying to get her focus back. She never been shock before. Scylla then was able to see who was talking to her. "Oh, yea yea, I'm fine, don't you two worry about me," she said, still feeling a bit dizzy from the shock.
After a while, Scylla was able to get back up to her hooves. She then look towards the pony next to her. "Well, that was a first... Anyway, I'm Scylla. And you are?"

"I'm Neon Greene. Is a pleasure to meet you" Neon stopped for a moment to take a look at this rather odd pony, or not even pony. "Your a Kelpie? Are you not? An amphibious creature?" Neon was a bit concerned. She didn't want to shock somepony again

"Nice to meet you too Neon," She said to her. "And to answer your question, yes, I am an amphibious creature... Although, that shock wasn't that bad, just was surprised by it is all"
"I never seen a pony do that before... well, an earth pony at least." She then though about Neon's last name. "Greene.... wait a sec", she said to herself. "You won't be related to Evest by any chance?" Scylla asked Neon.

"Well not yet, We are going to be getting married soon. I'm just getting used to the last name." Neon's stomach growled shortly after finishing that sentence. "Oop. I haven't eatin' anything yet. Hmm. I haven't been around town long enough to know where to go to eat. Do you happen to know of a place?"
