Neapolitan's Arrival

[Neapolitian]

Neapolitan was a bit nervous as this was his first time being on his own. He wondered what it would be like now, the pink stallion tapped his front hoof nervously. He needed a way to get some cash-flow, he knew he couldn't survive with what he had. He turned and began to explore more of this little place, wondering what new adventures laid ahead.

Tortimer was strolling down the grass of the city. 'Such a beautiful day,' he thought to himself. How he had missed the warmth; the Winter was no time for him. But he was mayor of the town and couldn't just leave to take a vacation. He stopped to sniff some red tulips as he walked.

As he continued on his stroll, he saw something he hadn't seen since he had left Canterlot, an alicorn. He approched the alicorn, but it looked kind of nervous. "Hello there. Is there anyway I can help you?" he asked.

Neapolitan blinked and tilted his head a small blush creeping onto his cheeks "H..hello there. I just arrived in town recently. Do you have any idea what I could do to earn some coins? I've got some but it won't last long".

Tortimer smiled at her. It was always nice to see new ponies settling in his town.

"Oh, yes I do young fella. You can do some chores for people. I know Flutterbrush always has a few coins to give for someone helping her out with chores. You can also sell anything you find here, like the apples on the trees, shells on the beach, or things you dig up, of course, you'd need a shovel first."

Neapolitan gave a nod "Thank you, I'll go and get a shovel now and see where I can help out". He then trotted towards the shop to purchase a shovel.
