It was sunny this day, when Sewalto decided to leave her house to explore the rest of the town, now thinking she got ahold of a map AND that she has figured out how to read it. But little did she know she still didn't know how to. But it wouldn't last long, if everything went well. She was going to hope she could see someone new or that one pony she met once. 'Flutterbrush? I think that's her name....' She thought to herself. Once more she looked down to watch her front hooves, in hopes she wouldn't trip over herself. And with the river just outside her house, one wrong step and kaploosh! She blinked a couple times as her eyes adjusted to the light outside, and she smiled, freckles moving up her face. "It sure seems like a good day today, doesn't it?" she asked herself, carefully making her way over to the river, looking at her reflection a bit, giggling.

Today, being a sunny day, and wanting to cool off, Scylla decided to go for a swim in the river. She wasn't swimming towards any place specifically, just going along with the flow. While she was new to the Crossing, Scylla finds this piece peaceful. "I can see why Daddy came to this place," Scylla said to herself.
After some time, she sees a pony standing next to the river. Wanting to get a better view, Scylla swam towards that pony. Upon a closer look, she could see that it was a green unicorn.
"It sure seems like a good day today, doesn't it?" said the unicorn. "Is she talking to me?" Thought Scylla.
Appearing next to the pony, Scylla said "It sure is!", all the while grinning, showing off her sharp teeth.

The head popped out of nowhere. All she could see were the sharp teeth. Her eyes widened and her jaw drop, a yelp, very high pitched and loud. She tripped over her feet and tumbled backwards, horn getting stuck into the ground.
"Ohh no not again!" She whimpered, trying to get her horn out of the ground, unaware that she wasn't pulling out from the right angle. "Come on come on come on!"
She just ended up giving up.
Sighing a little, she did her best to turn her body so she could stare back at the strange pony, worried about what could happen. She never saw that pony before. Are they new here? Or did she really not get out. Whimpering a bit she stuttered out, "Wh......Who are y-you.....?"

After saying that, Scylla could see that she has scared the unicorn... and that her hour was stuck. "...whoops," was all that she could think at the moment. Coming out of the river to help, she headed towards the now stuck pony.
"Sorry about that...," Scylla said to the green unicorn. "I didn't mean to scare you... Here, let me help." She then tilted the unicorn's head at an angle and pulls. After a few attempts, she was able to get the unicorn's horn unstuck.
"There now. Are you okay?" Scylla ask with a sorry look on her face.

Sewalto rubbed her head a bit, groaning at the pull of her head out from the strange pony of the river. She took the time to look at her again, thinking about whether or not this pony was friendly. They seemed it though, and the other pony she met was really friendly. So maybe everyone here was friendly, too? She hoped so. Nice ponies were the best ponies.
"I'm alright..." she muttered a bit, looking away now. She stood up a bit and shook herself free of dirt, before asking, "Are...you alright?" She wasn't too sure why she decided to ask that. Maybe because she felt bad for scaring the pony? Who knew?

"Hm?," Scylla said, wondering why the unicorn had asked her that. "I'm just fine, thank you for asking." While she been at the Crossing for a while now, this was the first time she met some other pony. And so far, she was not making a good first impression. Scylla then remembered that this pony had asked for her name.
"My name is Scylla by the way. Mind telling your name?"

Sewalto smiled a little bit, and working up the courage replied, "My name is Sewalto! I hope one day to be able to own my own clothing shop, or be a paid musician!" After saying that she had realized she was only asked for her name. Now embarressed she looked down a bit and scoffed the dirt. She didn't know how to react anymore, so she just began to hum until an idea pierced its way into her brain.
And that's when the idea sparked her. "Uhm, Miss Scylla, do you think I could make you a dress sometime? You're the second pony I met here and it would be nice to do you a favor, especially since you got my horn unstuck!"

"Please, just call me Scylla."she said to Sewalto, "Miss makes me sounds old."
"Anyway, that's a cute name you have," Scylla said. When she heard about Sewalto making a dress for her, Scylla couldn't help but simle. "And I would love to get a dress made by you! Thank you for that. Oh- and glad I could help you out."
"If you don't mind me asking, what do you have in mind for my dress?"

Sewalto thought long and hard about the question, pondering what exactly it would look like and what colors it should be. In the end she finally finished the design, saying, "It will look as if the waves made you a dress! It will be a pretty blue to contrast your red on your body and the head piece will be some kind of dangler.~"
At that point, she started losing track of what she was doing, pondering he design in her head, trying to see what needed to be done in order to make it look fabulous for her new friend. She only snapped out of it to say, "Maybe later today or this week you can stop by? That way I can get your measurements to have it fit right?"

"I really like the sound of that dress," she said to Sewalto, smiling at her.
"Hmm," she said to herself, "well, I have some free time on my hooves, so later on today will do work. Oh- and were should I meet you for the measurements?"

Her mind was out of focus but quickly shot in with, "Oh yeah, where to meet. I live in the house right there," she pointed to the tiny house, "so you can just come and stop by when you can, and we'll get measured. Then we can see which blue looks good on you and then we'll do what we do best- make the dress look like cake~" Once again she started to get suck into making the design, brain buzzing in every direction, trying to decide what exactly was going to happen each time and what kind of patter she was going to use. This was her first dress to be made here, and it HAD to be a good one.
Snapping out of it she asked, "Did we already exchange names?

"I like the sound of that," she said, smiling at Sewalto.
Once they exchanged names, Scylla went on her way to her house to take care of a few things. Once that was done and over with, she went to Sewalto's home. Once there, she knocked on her door, waiting for her to answer.

Ears perking up at the knock, the pony quickly drew her attention away from her hoof and horn trapped in the measuring tape together. Cringing at the thought it might be Scylla already, she limped her way over, forcing out, "C-Coming!" In all honesty, she was embarrassed- here she was, supposed to be looking somewhat professional since she was making a dress as a gift for Scylla, and she had gotten tangled in the measuring tape- her MEASURING TAPE. At the door she used her magic to open it slightly and peeked out. Seeing Scylla she smiled sheepishly, trying to hide her being tied up again.
"Hello Scylla! I'd say wait a moment, but I don't know how long that will take. When I let you in, promise you won't laugh too hard at me, okay...?

"Hi Sewalto," Scylla said to her. She was wondering about why Sewalto asked her not to laugh at her. "Yea, I promise," she said, waiting for the door to fully open.

Sewalto closed the door and stepped back, and with her magic, opened the door all the way, relieving her tied to her horn. "I don't exactly know how...it happened, but I think I got distracted," she shyly admitted, blushing at the accident. She nervously tapped a hindhoof lightly on the floor, and awaited her response.
