Raven Rises like the phoenix (Raven, Path, Open)

[Pathfinder]

Upon hearing her name, Path remembered all of the unfortunate events he had with her. He sigh, turning towards Evest. "Thanks for the warning. Hopefully, nothing bad happens... Anyways, I'll meet you guys there."

With that, he made his leave, picking up Scylla along the way. They then got a few things they might need from their home and went to Evest home. Once there, Path knocked on the door, waiting for them and keeping his eyes out for any signs of Myra.

[Evest]

Evest and Ravin head off to Tom Nook's shop. It took only a short walk. They had no trouble gathering the supplies needed for the four of them. They pay and head off to Evest's home.

As thee approach the door to Evest's home. Evest has a thought
"I wonder if Path ran into Myra? I guess I'll find out soon"

He opens the door

"..... BAHAHAHAHA"
Evest falls to the floor laughing. He sees Myra, Scylla and Path stuck on the roof with the spell book across the roof on the floor

"How'd you three get into this mess?"

[Pathfinder]

Once he heard Evest laughing, he just gave him an annoyed look.

"Long story short; the front door was unlock and we walked in on Myra casting a spell..."

Soon Path saw Raven enter the room.

"Oh- hi Rise. Think you can help us here?," he asked him.

[RavenRise]

"Oh yeah, no problem!"

He looked up at the ceiling. Now THERE was a species Raven had never seen. By process of elimination, he figured that had to be Path's new daughter. How it happened, he was now more confused than ever.

Oh Myra. Raven had a guilty fondness for her sometimes erratic magic.

"Now, how to undo this... it's either a magnetic spell or gravity spell. Magnetic would have me up there too, so that's not it. But wouldn't gravity do the same thing? This might take longer than I thought."

Then he noticed the book lying open directly below Myra. Hello cheat sheet!

"So what have you been messing with this time Myra? A local gravity charm, interesting. I see you skipped a few chapters to it. You're supposed to read the earlier ones first for this very reason, you know."

"Shut up and help me!" Myra replied.

"Fine." Raven shot a quick glance back to the book, then positioned himself a few steps away. He was confident, he had experience undoing spells like these. He closed his eyes, took a deep breath, pointed his head towards the ceiling, and his horn began to glow a strong white. The white glow enveloped Pathfinder, Myra, and Scylla, and they descended from the ceiling to a graceful landing.

He opened his eyes and the magic ceased. "Issac Hoofton's spells aren't to be taken lightly. But you'll probably keep rushing in them anyway. Nevermind."

He adressed the room. "...SOOooo.... We ready to go?"

[Evest]

Evest getting off the ground from laughing "I'll say, Scylla is here and we have all of the supplies, Let's head out." Evest and Raven waited as Path and Scylla got things together and then they all headed out the door. "So what's the goal, today? Should we try for the very top of the tree or go to where the branches all split. Its pretty flat there, we could maybe have a picnic. What do y'all think?"

"Flat... on top of a tree...? That sounds cool! let's do that"

And they were off. Raven felt anxious about the trip for some reason. Would the tree be like climbing a mountain?


"Say, there's nothing dangerous in the whispering pines is there? Besides the tree I mean."

[Evest]

Evest thought for a moment "Not that I know of. The forest is pretty barren of large creatures. Birds may be the only issue... and I'm not talking about me and Path" Evest chuckled a bit. "Ok so are we ready to head out?"

[RavenRise]

"Yeah let's go!" They all started walking towards the forest. Raven couldn't help peeking glances at Scylla, as he'd never seen anything like her.

They get to the forest without any trouble, which was a relief because Raven had expected a dangerous forest.

"Say, that huge thing sticking out, that's the tree isn't it?"

"Yup" said Evest. "It's not too long a flight, but don't worry, the climb isn't that bad either. The thick branches help."

They all begin the ascent. Pathfinder and Evest were able to climb easily, but it was obvious they'd rather be flying.

A good 10 minutes had passed and Raven had a few scratches on his legs from the branches, but he was just proud he hadn't fallen off. He had to take short breaks to catch his breath the farther they went up.

"I'm getting a little winded. Must be the altitude. How much farther up?"

[Evest]

"Not much farther. We wont be going all the way to the top. We will stop at the point were the 5 major branches jut out. Its pretty flat there" Evest continued to climb. Path and Scylla not to far behind. Evest was trying his hardest not to fly but the point of this was to climb so he resisted. "I think I can see the that point now."

[RavenRise]

"Yea I see it too!"

Raven and Scylla caught up to Pathfinder and Evest at the top. The summit was surprisingly big and flat. Perfect!

He unpacked his homemade bagels and started handing them out. After quickly finishing his, he took a walk around the perimeter. They were rather high up, high enough to freak him out just a bit.

He was looking down at the forest when he saw a movement in the bushes. Hm? Someone there?

Two timberwolves moved out of the bushes. Always a scary sight, but they were so high up it didn't matter. They had their sights on something, as if they were stalking prey. He followed their gaze. Was that, a pony, down there? It was too high up to tell for sure.

"Hey Evest, come here for a second? What do you see down there?"

[Evest]

Evest leaned over the edge and took a look down. He saw that there were 2 timberwolves down there and they appeared to be climbing the tree. "Uh...... It looks like we HAVE TROUBLE" He went into the middle of the tree "Uh... what to do what to do? Path.... why don't you take Scylla out of here, carry her home. Raven.... think we can hold them off?"
