A banana peel went flying into the air. Than a can. What could this be? A wild raccoon? Nope. A pony.
Flutterbrush had spent the day Spring cleaning. Every spot of her grooming shop and bedroom was spotless. She was exhausted, but she couldn't sleep. Because she had lost her grooming scissors some where in the garbage. She had dumped the garbage into the dump hours ago, so the only option she had was to dig in the trash for her scissors.

A shorter than the average unicorn made her way through the town, using her magic to hold a map up to her face as she desperately tried to read the paper. She didn't remember who she got the map from, only they seemed to pity her lack of direction. She looked about, trying to figure out similarities to the piece of paper. But not one.
Until she saw the dumpster.
It was huge and smelled kind of...really weird. But it was a start. She grinned a little and went forward, curious at the sight of throwing trash. At first thought she thought it was magical and it was sorting herself. That made her excited and she pushed forward. she kept following the trail of the magical trash-- until she discovered the backside of a pony, and trash flying up from her. She stopped and stepped back a bit, unsure how to react.
She had to try to make a friend, but...what can you do if you're as shy as the night?

The pegasus stuck her butt in the air, waddling it back and forth, as she dug through the trash. Her tail moved back and forth with her butt's movements. She sang a little bit under her breath. "My milkshake brings all the hooves to the yard, and damn right, its better than yours. I could teach you, but I'd have to charge," she continued, singing practically the whole song.
A bottle cap......A broken picture frame.......Some old Pens......... NO NO NO!!! Where the heck were they?
She listened to the country side sounds. She could hear the flies from the garbage. She took a deep breath (or at least as deep as it can be when your surrounded by stinky garbage air). Stretching her wings out, she turned around to check another spot. But instead of spotting her scissors, she spotted another pony. Her eyes widened in fear. She hated singing in front of other people.
"How long have you been there," she squeaked, tensing up (although her ears were almost always clenched down anyways).

Sewalto looked down fast as the new pony finally had noticed her existance. She backed up slightly, looking down at her golden bracers she had on. She stopped as she slightly hit a pile of trash and squealed a little bit. It wasn't until a brief moment of thinking she tried to make eye contact with the pony, almost sure the pony was much taller than herself.
"I..." She spat out before she started to hum something in a stressed out manor, ears folding back fast and eyes sealing shut as they locked with the other pony's.

She watched the other pony react, but she didn't seem to say much. The one word she did spit out was so quick and nervous she could barely understand it. Her wings uncluched and she stood up a little bit, tilting her head sideways in confusion. She felt bad she had scared the pony. Well, that's the best she had.
She took a step forward slowly, hoping to calm the pony. But it backfired on her. She felt a small stab on her back right ankle and squealed out herself, closing her eyes in pain. She had found her scissors.

Sewalto jumped a bit, sending her into the pile of trash, and the top of the semi-delicate structure collapsed ontop of her. She squealed as she tried to dig her way out, breathing hard and gagging at the gross smell. She quickly looked down at the other pony, whimpering a bit as she pulled herself out, covered in some weird-smelling trash.
Sewalto quickly approached the pony, looking at the stabbed area to the stabbing object to the pony's face and back to the cut. She crouched to the point that her chin was barely on the ground and asked in a quiet tone, "Do...do you need help? I....it look like it hurts." In pity her horn glowed without her meaning it to as a soft, sad song began to fill the air around it. A small blush of embarrassment filled her freckled cheeks as she covered her face.

Flutterbrush didn't open her eyes as the strange pony jumped and fell into the garbage. But she could hear it clearly with her ears. She was trying to be brave by not crying, but tensing up wasn't helping at all either. She counted to three and opened her eyes to look at the pony. At this point she had just pulled herself out of the trash. Thank Celestia. There was no way she could have helped her get out of the trash with the condition she was in.
She nodded slightly. "Yes, I would like help." She choked out a sob, trying to stay calm. "And yes, it does hurt. A lot," she urged the pony. "I should get out of the garbage before it gets infected I think," she told the pony, taking a slight jump with her good hooves and using her wings to levitate above the unicorn. The scissors fell onto the ground. She looked down at the cut. It was deep, but not too deep that it had cut muscle or bone.
"I should be able to take care of it, but maybe you could walk home with me just incase," she told the unicorn.

Sewalto nodded as the music softly died from her horn, and picked up the pair of scissors instead. She looked up at the Pegasus, hoping to herself that it wasn't too bad. She looked forward to the exit and trotted a little to it. She was silent until,
"You....know where you're going, right?" She asked her, realizing that her map she had disappeared in the dump. She didn't care too bad, but now she was on her own trying to figure out where she was heading. Maybe this Pegasus could help her, or at least point her into the direction needed to be.

"Of course I do, I've lived here for a few months. Not only do I know where everything is, I know where all the good places to hand are." She flew down a little bit onto the grass. She kept her bad hoof up as she limped with her other 3 legs. "Are you new here? I haven't seen you around before." she stated. It would explain why she was so lost.
She turned slightly to the right and walked forward. "My house is this way," she said quietly to herself.

The lime unicorn looked at the blue eyes of the redish-brown pegasus. she smiled slightly and quickly changed her path with her, taking a few more steps then she should, trying hard not to trip over herself. She didn't want to be known as a klutz just yet.
Sewalto looked at her once more and answered, "Yeah...I'm...pretty new, not too sure where I'm..going yet. But..I know where the dump is!" She tried to make it funny, but she honestly knew it wasn't that great of a joke. She was bad at them, actually.

Flutterbrush laughed at the joke. She herself had been known herself to make bad jokes when she was trying to make friends. It wasn't always the easiest thing. But she also noticed the way the unicorn had stumbled around. Was she walking like that on purpose? She didn't say anything to be nice, but made a mental note of it.
"Well, once we go to my house, you'll know where the grooming salon is too. I groom animals for a living. Dogs. Cats. Foxes. Rats even. If you can think of it, I'll groom it. But not ponies, that's a hair dresser's job," she told the friendly pony. "I should have some first aid supplies in my house. I always have them in case i snip a dog's skin. But, I never do.

Sewalto nodded at the strange pony, then continued forward. If she had known there was a groomer's place, she would have brought her cat with her instead of leaving it at home with her friends. She looked down at her hooves a bit and turned them a little more to the outside, hoping that it would help her with her balance.
And as the time went silent, she shot her eyes up at the other pony, realizing they never exchanged names. She scrunched her nose up a bit, but turn turned to the pegasus and asked, "Uh...What's your name? I never got it."

They were close to her house now, so Flutterbrush pointed up to her house. "This is my shop. Flutterbrush's grooming. So, I guess my name is Flutterbrush," she said, fluttering her wings out a little bit. "Flutter because of my large wings and the way I use them. Brush because of my grooming talents," she explained to the unicorn.
She opened up her door with her hoof, pushing it in. She walked through and revealed her salon to the other pony. It was small, but was the same size of all starter houses in The Crossing. It had a single grooming table, bath tub, and a table with her tools. "Come on in. What's your name by the way?" she asked as she opened the first aid kit.

Sewalto looked around in awe at the new place. It was small and cozy, but at least it didn't seem like it was some place to get lost easily. Her eyes then turned to to the first aid kit that was brought out, watching her new friend fix her hoof. She wasn't quite sure how to do it, but it did seem like she knew what she was doing.
Realization hit her as she realized she was asked for her name. She thought hard, trying to come up with some clever, and witty phrase, but ended up going with, "My name's Sewalto." At first she thought to herself, was this a big mistake she just did? Or did she actually do the best choice? But it didn't matter now, the motion was carried and she could not change the past.

Aura tried to adjust the gauze around her hoof, but was having a hard time without any magic. She wrapped the gauze around but when she tried to latch it, it just feel off. "Come on," she mumbled to herself frustrated. She wrapped it again, but tears were starting to fall. She finally just broke down crying. She was just having one of those days.
